for P1 I had to gain evidence to apply to my proposal I researched into a very successful advertising campaign which was nike's 2014 world cup promotion which contained two main advertisements which were a tv advert called 'winner stays on' and a world cup cartoon called 'the last game'. these two adverts were very successful as they both target people of all ages and genders. this advert also had a message which was 'risk everything' which was demonstrated when a random kid scored a penalty to win the game which is inspiring for people watching the advert. the choice of media they spread this message and advert was through posting the video on online ads and through billboards.

for P2 the objective was to create a plan for our media product which was a horror/thriller film. for this i decided to create the mood board above to give me ideas and to outline what i needed to apply to my film to make it good and the examples i used were perfect for this.

in InDesign we had to re create a magazine cover. we each had a different one to recreate and my one was a burger.

in this lesson we learnt how to change and re shape the fonts. we learnt how to do this as we incroporated it into our advertising and it helped expand our knowlodge in editing in photoshop.

 


in this lesson we learnt how to diffuse diffrent colours on photoshop and how to add text to a backdrop. we did this by messing around with diffrent colours until we were happy with what we had. i chose red and black as the backdrop as they contrast well against the yellow font colour.

 



this lesson was our first mock up of a magazine cover. for this i used an original picture i took of the epcot ball in america and titles the magazine 'around the world'. my magazine is an architecture magazine so this was why i chose the epcot ball as its an amazing and iconic landmark known worldwide. also i chose my font colour as red as it stands out well against the black and looks good with the title centred in the middle of the picture.
